ADSL Charitable Dinner Night reaches new heights

ADSL Charity DinnerA recent Charitable Dinner Night, held by Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL), reached unexpected heights with a breathtaking parachute entrance and a guest appearance from Rugby legend, Matt Dawson.

This event, that was held at The Royal Artillery Officers’ Mess at Larkhill, was held as part of ADSL’s ongoing support for the SSAFA. This is a worthwhile and important charity providing lifelong support to those who are serving, or have served in the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force, and to their families.

Attendees to this prestigious event included senior military officers, corporate guests and contractors. Steve Chivers – Special Works, General Manager at Rollalong Ltd, comments; “This was a fantastic evening, one that we will remember for years to come. Larkhill is a beautiful setting and we felt honoured to help support such a good cause.”

Guests were greeted with a champagne reception, followed by a delicious four course dinner. After dinner, there were speeches from senior representatives of SSAFA and ADSL, as well as the guest host, Commander Land Forces, Lieutenant General James Everard CBE. The evening culminated with the much anticipated charitable auction hosted by Matt Dawson who charismatically auctioned off “money can’t buy” prizes, including a signed photograph of himself.

The event was a huge success and raised over £45k for the SSAFA.
