Client: Ministry Of Defence

Project: Empire Test Pilot's School training facility

Need: To provide training rooms, lecture theatres, IT suites, flight simulator room, offices and welfare facilities to aesthetically fit with existing surrounding buildings.

Solution: Rollalong provided a two storey training facility from groundworks to building design, manufacture, delivery and erection.

In order to fit with the existing facilities the building was finished externally in profiled metal cladding with aluminium windows and doors. The internal finishes were completed to a high specification including a flight simulator training facility. The building was delivered to site where the external cladding and roofing were added.

The building was manufactured in Rollalong’s quality controlled factory, including the internal fit out and installation of all mechanical and electrical services prior to delivery to site, erection and connection to mains services.

Duration: The whole project took just 22 weeks.
