Client: Bournemouth Flying Club, Hurn Airport

Project: Office and training facility to link with existing building.

Need: With increasing membership numbers, the Flying Club needed more accommodation, including office space, briefing rooms and toilet facilities.

Solution: 'Rollalong LiNX' provided the ideal solution for the club, with its 20 year design life, Building Regulation compliance and flexibility to extend or relocate at a later date.

Five bays of Rollalong LiNX measuring 3m x 9.6m each were used to provide the 150 square metres of additional space. The new building was linked to the existing facility via a corridor connection. Finished externally in a matching colour coated steel and installed onto pad foundations with a brick skirt, Rollalong LiNX was able to provide a seamless extension.

The new building has been internally finished to a high specification including CAT 2 lighting, perimeter electric heaters, three compartment trunking for services and UPVC double glazing throughout, all standard in the 'Rollalong LiNX' building range.

The modules were manufactured in Rollalong's quality controlled factory, prior to delivery to site and installation. The new accommodation was installed in a single day and ready for occupation just two weeks later.
