Client: Southern Housing Group
Project: The design, manufacture and erection of modular units for the provision of 34 mixed dwellings.
Need: Southern Housing used Rollalong's modular housing system to reduce program time, site disruption and defects, while providing buildings with enhanced sound and thermal performance.
Solution: A greenfield development for Southern Housing Group, the project provided 34 affordable homes. The development consists of four 1 bedroom flats, two 2 bedroom bungalows and 28 houses, providing a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms. The properties are provided in an attractive layout specifically designed to maximise the use of the available land. Main contractor Hill Partnerships provided the external elements, with Rollalong designing, manufacturing and installing the internal modular element.

Partnering: Our homes have been designed in partnership with calfordseaden to obtain best value from off-site production processes, including consideration of critical dimensions and production efficiencies. Our designs meet all Housing Corporation Scheme Development Standards (SDS) as well as ensuring the development of attractive new homes.
