Client: Leighton
Park School, Reading, Berkshire
Project:
Sports Changing Facility
Need:
A new shower/changing block to provide essential additional facilities
in time for the start of the new school term.
Solution: A
54 sq metre portable building was constructed providing two changing
rooms, each containing their own shower and toilet areas and a bespoke
changing room for match officials, which also doubles as a disabled
toilet facility.
The building was designed with high specification internal finishes
and is externally finished in impact resistant highly durable colour
coated steel.
Rollalong was selected to provide a complete turnkey service including
groundworks, delivery and installation.
Duration: The changing facility was delivered just eight
weeks after order placement.
Client Comment: "It was very important to provide this
facility within a programme of summer works and for the completion
date to be achieved by the start of the new academic year. There
were a number of amendments to the design post-order, at the requirement
of the local authority, which Rollalong were able to achieve and
still complete the installation on time and to the high standard
expected by the school.
The facility is now in full use and both pupils and staff are impressed
with its quality and the additional space available to them, it
has been a great success and an asset to the school."
