Client: P
J Livesey Northern Ltd
Project: Site
Sales Office and associated welfare facilities to be sited in Halifax
on the site of a former Grade II listed hospital known as 'The Royal'.
Need: As
a leading developer in the conversion of listed buildings into luxury
apartments, P J Livesey required a sales office to entertain prospective
buyers. A kitchen area together with customer toilets were also
provided.
Solution:
With the property conversion in full operation, P J Livesey required
an office which would offer a practical and secure solution for
a building site environment, whilst providing a spacious and comfortable
interior suited to entertaining prospective buyers.
Rollalong provided two 24' x 10' portable cabins as the main body
of the office connected to each other via a linking corridor. To
the rear of the office an additional smaller cabin was provided
to house with kitchen and toilet area.
The units were externally finished in a highly durable colour coated
steel with the addition of two double sliding glass entrance doors
and side wall windows. Overall the sales office benefited from a
high level of natural lighting.
The portable cabins were manufactured in Rollalong's quality controlled
factory, prior to delivery to site and installation. The sales office
was then branded with P J Livesey's corporate livery before being
internally fitted out with Plasma tv screens, leather sofas and
furnishings by the client.
Lee Cowen of P J Livesey commented, 'We were looking for a sales
office to compliment the prestigious status of 'The Royal'. Through
Rollalong's design team we managed to find exactly what we were
looking for, giving us the space and flexibility required'.
He added, 'With the help of Rollalong, sales at 'The Royal' have
exceeded our expectations'. |
