Rollalong have been appointed to provide the residence for Manor Green School in Maidenhead, by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. RBWM have a long association with Rollalong and modular construction and the needs of this project for high quality accommodation, Best Value construction, Environmental sustainability, and a rapid development programme meant that a modular solution was an ideal choice.
The Manor Green Residence will accommodate 24 young people with special educational needs. 16 places will be available for pupils at the school (aged 2 to 19) and 8 places from The Primary Care Trust or other funding agencies. 4 of the bedrooms are provided to suit children with high medical needs.
The Manor Green residence is scheduled for handover in August 2010.
