Over the busy Spring Bank Holiday weekend Rollalong delivered and installed 20 modules to DMRC Headley Court in Surrey to form the Additional Ward Accommodation required.
Currently there are 66 inpatient beds available but once the accommodation is completed there will be 96 available for the wounded. This requirement has been due to the increase in the number of soldiers returning from Afghanistan with limbs partially or completely amputated, 7 in 2006 which rose to 55 in 2009.
The building comprises of ward accommodation, treatment rooms and offices which will be ready for occupancy by the end of August.
